Experience Shining’s Unexpected Cover EP: Without You

Shining’s latest EP, featuring three unique reinterpratations on pop classics “Without You” by Avicii, “Someone Like You” by Adele, and “Fairytale Of New York” by The Pogues. Known as an industrial jazz metal band, these covers are a testament to the band’s commitment to pushing musical boundaries and surprising listeners.

The songs literally bleed from the heart, and connects with Shining’s previous Nordic melancholy from their most popular album Animal, while utilising saxophones and industrial synths from their classic record Blackjazz.

Without You EP reminds us why Shining has been called the world’s most adventurous band. Last week they released the explosive Blackjazz Live At The Heavy Water Plant live album and concert film. This week the band surprises everyone once again by hurling the pendulum all the way to the other pop extreme.

It’s a journey from the haunting melodies of Adele to the festive punk energy of The Pogues, all reimagined through Shining’s adventurous lens.

Shining will be playing at the gigantic Hellfest Open Air on June 27th.
